Guided You began when every student said “ i never practiced kundalini this way before”.

MEET SARA NORY

Sara is an artist and Kundalini guide, originally from Iran and raised in Sweden. She began exploring the relationship between body wisdom and consciousness while living in New York, where a breast tumor diagnosis at 23 became the catalyst for her healing journey and the reason she began practicing yoga.

Her path led her to India, Oaxaca, and Costa Rica, where she studied the eastern traditions of Kundalini and the philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism under devoted masters. Between 2014 and 2017, she completed Kundalini Yoga Levels 1-3 and a 500-hour Hatha Yoga training, studying with teachers including Stefano Allegri, Mario Corella, and Richard Freeman. In 2018, under the mentorship of Linda Backman, she began integrating past life awareness into her 1:1 mentorship work.

Guided You was born in the classes Sara taught around the world, where students kept telling her they had never practiced Kundalini this way. After becoming a mother, she saw more clearly that Kundalini is often presented through the style of Yogi Bhajan, when in truth it holds many lineages. Sara doesn't claim to have created a new modality. Her sequences blend these lineages, and the blend itself is her offering.

Sara is also a devoted artist, and creativity has always been woven into her practice. Part of why she created Guided You was to bridge these ancient practices with something tangible, a way to express through creation what we experience in the body. This is the heart of her CreArt workshops and her course Unmasked.

She created Guided You because modern yoga too often forgets to honor where its practices originate from. Her intention is to protect the depth of these traditions rather than dilute them. The method weaves together strength, meditation, alignment, vibrancy of voice, deep pranayama, and rest.
